What's going on on the arabian peninsula? Why are they so upset about Qatar suddenly?
The Saudis released a list of demands that Qatar can impossibly fullfil. They want Al Jazeera to be shut down completely. That's the genius pet project of Qatar with which it managed to reach several important goals:
>make one BBC-like channel in English to let the West believe they are harmless mudslimes
>make on in Arabic to spread radical muslim thought in the region
>another one in Egypt which supports the Muslim Brotherhood to oust the current military regime
and so on. They've of course all in common that they shill for Qatari interests.
Qatar is mostly Arabs/Sunni but they've got quite good relations with Iran. That's also a point of conflict.
The US is in a bit of a mess there. Trump is sucking the Saudi cock like a professional whore while the US has a huge military base in Qatar. They will have to take a side. Furthermore the Strait of Hormus is becoming less of a geopolitical focal point because of the fracking revolution.
So.
What's going to happen? A huge fucking war in which the whole region goes up in flames? Qatar getting annexed?
Qatar had it coming. A small sandbox that benfits from US protection and the GCC can't just do what it wants. They fund terrorism and flirt with Iran. They are a small dog and should be obidient to it's master.

>They fund terrorism
Do they actually? What I know it's private individuals and not the state. Am I misinformed?
>They flirt with Iran
But why? What's in it for them?
Their list of demands are aburd, to think that any Sovereign Nation would agree to this in insane their basically demanded control of Qatar

They all fund terrorism
Just not approved terror groups (tm)
$$$ and ideology
Qatar likes political Islam, those with a sharia constitution (no, it's still shit in case you're thinking that they're based or something)

saudis and uae are allied with the kikes against qatar turkey and iran

Funding terrorism is a state policy in Qatar.

Why no flirt with Iran if you can get away with it? They are a rising force in the middle east and as a small country you want to be on the winning side. So they don't chose a side and want to be in the middle. But that's not going to happen and you can't blame the Saudis for doing this.

Saudis and Qataris finance different moderate headchoppers in Syria. US has their part in this too. And of course, Israel as well.
>Why no flirt with Iran if you can get away with it?
Qatar shares huge gas fields with Iran. And UAE has extensive trade with Iran as well.
