Watched the video, everything seemed in order untill the officer tried to open the car door and then reached into the car. If the officer had asked, "I need you to step out of the car.", BEFORE he went to open the car or reach in, then he would have had a much stronger legal defence. As it stands the officer likely did not follow procedure (could be different down there) and some people would argue that attempting to remove a person from a car without following established procedure is overstepping authority. The shooting itself is reasonable I think. There have been plenty of cops dragged to death alongside cars, I can see him making a desicion to save his own life. He just fucked up procedure and that might bite him in the ass.
