Why couldn't Europe leave us alone

We were fine being purely White Protestant in isolation early on, then Europe had to send us all these Catholics to create religious conflict, along with constantly trying to weaken us whenever we had internal or external strife, until finally after being dragged into two world wars by Europe we enter the international scene. And now, all Europeans can do is bitch about how we interfere with the rest of the world. You set us up for this, all of you, and now that we're able to inflict our will on the world it's your fault.
