I don't like the man but not all of these quotes are that bad. The quote about space and time sounds like there is a context behind it that has been omitted. The quote about not reading the news actually doesn't sound that ridiculous given how bad the MSM is - it may be better to get news from trusted advisers or people who work in intelligence instead.
