Appearance is important. People have more respect for those who are clean cut and dressed sharply rather than those who have tattoos sprawled all over their bodies.
A tiny tattoo that's hidden isn't a big deal, but when you turn your body into an advertising billboard it's a turn off.

I'm pretty sure /pol/ just says tattoos are degenerate because they don't like them, and they associate them with leftists.
