Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 protects individuals against employment discrimination on the bases of race and color, as well as national origin, sex, and religion.
In time, this act provides protection of womanly acts like pregnancy and abortion even though neither is necessary.
Simply put, why are men only disallowed from being fired if it's based on the fact that they're men but women get that same protection as well as protections towards women-specific acts? Are there any male equivalents?
