Why can't Muslim assimilate Western culture in their own countries? Liberals believe Muslims can be "just like us", so why aren't they "just like us" when they live in Iraq, or Syria, or Lebanon? Why will they suddenly become "just like us" when they step foot on western soil? Shouldn't at least a few Muslim countries be more western by now, or at least show signs of becoming more western? I mean, if our culture is so great and universal, shouldn't it be catching on all over the world? Or do you need white people around for that to happen? But then, does that mean there's something different about white people? If why people aren't special, then shouldn't other people be able to just turn their countries into high performing successes like Western Europe without the aid of whites, and without having to move into white countries?

It's all very confusing.
