The tides of the Earth's bodies of water are caused by the gravitational force exerted by both the sun and the moon. The moon is the predominant factor in determining the Earth's tides, as its proximity to Earth exerts greater immediate gravitational shifts. The most drastic tides, called spring tides, occur when the Earth, moon, and sun are aligned. Therefore, during a solar eclipse, spring tides will occur.

Yellowstone has two liquids affected during a spring tide. The magma pocket, and the Lake water above it. When these two liquids combine they explode and cause an eruption. So this nearly full solar eclipse will put the strongest outside pressure force on Yellowstone in thousands of years at a time when the magma chamber is at it's greatest stress level in ten thousands of years.
If it's gonna pop in our lifetimes, it would be in late this August or soon after. Hope you guys bought your filters.
