Is classical liberalism the superior ideology?

Classical liberalism taken to it's logical conclusion (minarchism/possibly AnCap?) suggest that modern nation states are literally just giant cults. I used to be skeptical of this until the Leah Remini interview with Joe Rogan came out, and it suddenly became clear to me that cults can be highly functional.
When you look at the how cult psychology works, it is eerily similar to the kind of rhetoric used to justify the existence of modern nation states and their "governments". I put governments in quotation to emphasize the fact that calling the status quo such a thing begs the question of whether or not that is actually their primary function, as opposed to their primary function simply being to extort productive people in order to fund their ponzi scheme.
> However, cult leaders meet this need by making promises that are virtually unattainable – and not typically found anywhere else in society. This, according Pedersen, could include “complete financial security, constant peace of mind, perfect health, and eternal life.”
