Raising the minimum wage sounds like an ebin idea until you realize all the shit that comes along with it.
>increased price of consumer goods
>layoffs
>unskilled workers getting pushed out of the market in favor of skilled workers
>promotion of new certificates and other hiring walls for everyone
>death of small businesses
>replacement of workers by machines which cost less in 5 years
