Being a Dr. isn't all its cracked up to be anymore. Unless you're at an elite hospital you basically are churning out revenue for a massive private hospital chain and allowing an insurance company (or if Canada, the government) dictate how you can practice. Solo practice is basically a thing of the past now, since costs are becoming too high.

Dentistry is surprisingly where it's at right now, the only exception being the incredibly high cost of education. The overwhelming number of practices are still private (not corporate, although the proportion is increasing) and the procedures you do are often cheap enough that insurance isn't an absolute necessity for all of your patients (allowing for much more freedom). A lot of the skill involved is fine motor and requires adaptability which means it's difficult to automate, unlike many nonsurgical branches of medicine. Most /v/ fags would probably be pretty good after a lifetime of vidya unless they can't interact with people.

It also require spatial reasoning skills which means women will be bad at it even though they are making up a higher proportion of dentists. Affirmative action means more nigs and spics are doing it too but since they're literally letting dumber people in it's even easier to allow yourself to stand out and shine.

At my school, it's readily apparent to anyone who observes in clinic that white and asian males easily make up the upper third of the class, something that will be reflected in our hiring prospects and letters of recommendation after graduation. The military really needs physicians atm so it's easy to get them to pay for 100% of your tuition in exchange for 4 years of service.

In a civilized, developed society, medicine and healthcare is for Alphas. White men are decidedly BETA, and Indians, alpha.

He had perfect extracurriculars, a 3.9 gpa in college and a 94th percentile and only got into one medical and waitlisted st another out of the 16 he applied to. I'm applying this cycle so I have the MSAR app in pic related which uses the official AMCAS data which is the company responsible for handling all medical school applications.

But as you see even here in Augusta Georgia where a vast majority of the population is black there are still many more white medical students that other groups.

I just think there's other reasons you don't tend to notice white doctors such as they tend to more so be in specialties that the general public doesn't see. I myself am personally wanting to go into neurology or possibly neurosurgery and I doubt anyone one here has seen either.

Most people who visit the hospital never leave the ER, and ER doctors can start out of school without specialization. The pay and hours are bad (relative) but it is easy to get work. Those are likely your poos or asians.
If you are admitted, Internal Medicine (generalist) doctors are likely treating you. Those are likely foreigners because Internal Med is the only specialty that transfers from overseas.

It's only when you need surgery, have a special pathology, or are paying for private practice will you see white doctors.

In the real world though, all doctors and med students hate what it is doing to their salaries and the field.

Furthermore they know less than doctors and miss obvious things. Worst case I heard of was a baby wasn't feeding well (had a heart defect that a doc would easily pick up just by listening to its heart), and the parent had CPS come and investigate her. The nurse practitioner called CPS on a mother because she couldn't diagnose a heart defect.

They get less training, and are less effective. In the long run they would lead to more bad outcomes for patients.

Medfag here. It's almost impossible to get into med school as a White Male. They use quotas out the wazoo to give all slots to women, kebabs, asians, street-shitters, and other shitskins. On paper, there is still a lot of "white" people in medicine, but they're almost ALL kikes and kebabs. They have quotas for white men, and the vast majority of those precious slots are only going to kikes because the people in charge of the medschools and the people doing the interviews are all kikes and absolutely engage in nepotism in this regard. You need to seriously work your ass off and have sky-high credentials and tons of experience and perfect GPA if you want to even be considered for medical school.

The most enraging part about all this is that the AMA severely limits the number of med students and doctors in order to keep supply low, thereby keeping wages high. When my father was dying of Leukemia at the hospital he ralways requested a male doctor refusing to be treated by female ones. This was standard for his entire life. Every time and one female doctor sent complaints after she was "offended", and somehow forced him to have to go to see a pyschiatrist about his misogyny. While he had 6 months to a year to live he was forced to defend his stance of not wanting to be touched or seen exposed by a woman, his wife had been the only one who had for over 40 years.

The good news is we found a male psychiatrist who was disturbed by the whole thing respected by father's traditional beliefs and they got on well in his final months.

dentist here, just graduate in june taking over a group practice. Our valedictorian was an asian female, and a white female got into our ortho residency. I agree with like 95% of what you say except women are really good dentists too and they have small tiny delicate hands. The kicker is you don't make as much in the military. My mom (accountant) did a breakdown for me and figured out that the break-even point for dentists at least is about 325k of student loans. Past that it's more profitable to serve in the military making less money for a bit and below that it's better to just take out the loans.

My school costs about 420k for all 4 years so it was a no-brainer for me.

My wife went to PA school while I went to dental school. Several of her class went military. Debt doesn't really matter with income based loan repayment. I worked for a credit card company, and we were taught to ignore student loans. She started out the door at 100k, most of my classmates are getting offered 120k with 4 times the debt. I only took on this much debt because I have a family practice to take over, otherwise I would definitely go the military route, better cases and training too.

Canada doesn't have the same AP system in place as the US does, so we don't arbitrarily boost our averages +10% because we took AP classes. I've played many vidya games with Americans who say they graduated high school with a +95% average who have told me that their grades are wildly inflated, that they're not really that smart, and that I (who graduated from high school with a comparably low 90% average) am definitely more intelligent than they are. They've told me about people in their classes who have averages over 100%. How does this make any sense? When you have many, many people graduating high school with an average over 100%, something is wrong with your grading system. Either it is not challenging enough, it doesn't grade hard enough, or both.

The worst part is that the AP system doesn't even seem to be standardized; some jurisdictions add grades on for taking AP classes, some don't; jurisdictions that do add grades on for AP classes don't seem to agree how much a grade should be increased for any specific AP class.

Your education system is a mess, it's like a cheap knock-off brand clothing item. At first glance it looks good ("Oh wow, this guy has a 4.0 GPA!"), but when you get down into it, you realize that it's not the genuine article ("Huh, so does this guy, and this girl, and that retard over there..."). Your education system is all style and no substance.

Med scchool is expensive so middle class cant take it.

I only speak for public schools, but AP classes are much harder than "regular" classes. The added 10% is for determining merit-scholarships that cutoff at a certain GPA. It's fair since the difficulty spike is often more than the 10% difference.

Also, every AP class takes the same exam, nationwide and proctored. The result of this standardized exam is the only thing that matters for the college credit transfer portion.

The system that Ontario uses is a three tiered system (two tiered in grades 9 and 10), with the highest level classes being much more difficult than the mid level classes (the lowest level classes are for literal retards so that the education system can sweep them out). I took Organic chemistry at UT austin with 1000 people just in my 1 section. We had 1 TA for every 100 students. The general requirements are incredibly overcrowded at most state schools so the classes tend to be shitty. The AP exam is supposed to help with the overcrowding of these gen ed classes.

Admittedly, I only know about Nevada and Georgia's programs. Their lotto systems are siphoned to pay tuition+a room&board stipend to students with over a (inflated) 4.0. It's called the Zed Miller Scholarship in Georgia.

The exams are graded 1-5. The colleges require a certain score, always 3+, but more prestigious schools have higher requirements. My college only took my 5's. As for the GPA of those transferred credits, they are literally "blank." Your classes you take at college itself determine your GPA. They just count towards graduation requirements and class assignment (sophomore, etc.)

Do you know how difficult it is for someone who got their medical degree from a medical school not in the us is. Its not only difficult but they have to be a resident for a couple more years compared to if they went to school in the us. Being a dr isn't that great anymore. They have do just as much documenting as the RNs but for more patients, and are always being interrupted for meetings, rounds, or orders. In top of that most hospitals today require that you do research or review other drs essays. As a result all of the drs are specializing in different things like ent, cardio, and oncology because the specialization payd much more than general practioner. Imagine only getting paid 40-50k more than an RN for all that extra work. That's why nobodies becoming general practioners anymore and as a result they've had to fill that gap by having the nurse practioners and PAs do that job.

What's the point of having those classes at the college level if college applicants have already completed them? For students who didn't take the classes and still want to get in to college I assume? Seems wasteful, those students who didn't take the AP courses should have planned better or they should be taking courses outside of college (i.e. returning to high school) to fulfill the entry requirements.
