It should be remembered that Adolf Hitler was once one of us, a disgruntled hopeless person stumbling around in a morally decaying society. His aspirations were crushed before him, tossed into a horrific war and spit back out onto the streets as if he didn't exist.
The only difference is, he acted on it, carried out rallies, spread the word, and so on. You can't expect to preserve western civilization without actively grinding against the tide.

I apologize for not being specific, what I meant was, it's easy to churn out a couple of memes or persuasive eye-catching info graphs that aren't too offensive or too complex for the average person to understand.
Look at Trump. It goes without saying that all the internet memes or more-so attention generated towards him gave him a MAJOR boost compared to everyone else on both sides of the spectrum.
