This is something normies perpetuate all the time, not sure where it comes from. If you read Mein Kampf I think it's pretty clear that Hitler presents a coherent worldview.

That being said, you certainly wouldn't be unjustified in arguing that his worldview is based on delusional and outdated concepts of racial hygiene from the late 19th century, but to pretend the man was some kind of bumbling imbecile evidences a pretty profound lack of imagination. The man might have been an "unlettered Bavarian corporal" (to borrow von Hindenburg's assessment) but he certainly wasn't stupid.

This is pretty demonstrable. Hitler went through a revolving door of people at the OKW. The only reason Keitel lasted as long as he did is because he pretty much became nothing more than a yes-man after Stalingrad.

Also we're not saying Hitler would've won the war if he had listened to his generals, just that it was a major contributing factor to the many strategic blunders the Wehrmacht made in the East (which is the war's most significant theater).

Hitler was a gifted politician, he was not a gifted strategist or tactician. The highest rank he achieved was corporal yet he found it appropriate to direct military strategy directly. In the case I have linked, Hitler doomed an entire Army unit because of his ignorance and expected the commander to commit suicide rather than, surrender or retreat. I do not need to read an entire book to access proof of Hitler's mistakes in the war.
The Soviets had a very similar policy of fighting to the end, except they outnumbered the Germans and fought on their home turf.
Hitler had no excuse to commit the same mistakes that brought an end to Napoleon given he had access to such knowledge.
