Free speech as a concept is inherently idealistic and flawed.

First of all there can be no free speech without total freedom of information and that is not possible. The lack of access to all relevant information, which will always be the case, indirectly suppresses free speech.

Secondly, each and every public platform should be forced to tolerate free speech, not just the state, otherwise hugboxes and antisocial indoctrination happens (ie: leftism). Forcing such a thing is not possible either.

And finally, a benevolent state with free speech allowed will inevitably lose to malicious entities who abuse this right by spreading lies, half truths, and propaganda, but have no intention to maintain the right of free speech once they get into power (again, leftsts).
