is the fed run by banks?

but by what mechanisms?
The fed can choose to print/notprint money and choose the interest rate that they loan money to the treasury at, which in term affects loans to banks and loans to businesses
monetary policy i guess, but there's also action congress/executive branch can take

Subdue the earth, by farming or building. Perfect your property titles, don't let corporations and contracts, and Commie taxes take the fruit of your labor. Trade for gold, silver, copper, labor, tools, etc. Jewish bankers always try to make things scarce, so they can price gouge it and force you to take out a loan from them.

they did it for 40+ years after WW2
print more money and create a weak dollar, this helps exports and increases manufacturing jobs
inflation is very closely tied to unemployment
inflation also helps middle class homeowners and businesses because the inflation helps pay back long term loans, your 500,000 $ loan is not so large 20 years down the road as long as your wages keep pace with the inflation, same goes for business loans
inflation also encourages spending, because your money will be worth less tomorrow you should trade it for goods now which do not deflate in value
historically inflation rates have been higher post WW2 then they are now
the wealthy don't like high inflation because it hurts their savings long term, but it mostly helps the middle class
