I think Poland is better, for several reasons
>better neighborhoods
>the principal of rule of law is better uphold
>is in the EU, i.e. has access to the common market and are free to travel almost everywhere in Europe
>better market economy - a better environment to start a business
>you got a chance to become successful without being close to government officials
>the Polish people are a bit more respectful than the Russians, who usually have this sense of superiority
>Russia, outside of the big cities, is not a pleasant place
