Nowadays with all this degeneracy makes me long for a different time. If you had to chose an era or time period to live in what would it be? Personally I'd either do 80s Miami or 50s American suburbia. Hbu?

For me it would be 87-92. The best of the 80s with it's "things are getting better" zeitgeist, before the culture (especially music) became fully negroficated and dumbed down and before the Clinton decline started.
VGA graphics, CD players, Good car audio, Decent TV, you weren't "connected" to everything, Your phone was a phone, and you didn't NEED to know where everyone was at every given time...
Rudy hadn't yet cleaned up NYC, but things were getting better. Outside the shitties, things were WHITE--the demographics had not been fatally poisoned yet. Gas stations/convenience stores were US citizen owned, albeit starting to change. Less messicans and hardly any mooselimbs. My school had less than 10 negroids in it. THAT was the time to fight and stand up and save the future. But the baby boomers didn't They were too busy.
