Also, before you say "nice try FBI / GCHQ", how would those institutions be able to see what you say online? I mean here's two options I can think of, but tell me if I'm wrong:

1) I guess they could hack 4chan's servers, to get a record of your posts along with your IP address. Surely 4chan would know if they were getting hacked like this though. Obviously 4chan do WILLINGLY give over IP addresses when a major crime (like a shooting) has been admitted on here, but that's different.

2) I guess the FBI / GCHQ could contact your ISP for your internet records, but I read recently that (in the UK at least) that ISPs only record which sites you visit, but they DON'T record what you DO on these sites. So they shouldn't have records of what you post.

How else would they be able to connect what you post on here with your real life identity?

I would really like to start getting involved in far-right events and demonstrations but I have no connections.
