Now that its a foregone conclusion that Syria will end up being the flashpoint for WWIII, lets discuss how it. would go. Who would win? What would the strategy of each side be?
Team A : Russia,Iran,Turkey,Iraq,Qatar,Syrian Regime, Hezbollah, Houthis/Saleh
Team B: US, Israel, KSA/Gulf, Egypt,Jordan, Yemen, Kurds

Focusing on euro more than the middle east aspect (because that is an ongoing war series)
If we follow prophecy (or even common sense) Russia and Turkey or Kurds will be the deciding factor and Istanbul, the euphrates, and the Suez will all be the most important spots for the hot breakout of action.
Russia will appear to win for a while and then will go too hard and greedy, brutal just like USSR did.
Seeming allies will betray each other.
Western Europe will be the site of a lot of conflict, so they too will have to participate with varying expressed or hidden allegiances split between US and Russia and not necessarily following NATO lines.
If the worst of it goes down in Turkey we can probably look to the conflict spreading to the balkans.
Wouldn't be surprised if it spread to USA's land.
