Auto inspections are a tax on the poor. Those that don't have the money to buy a nicer, newer car are the only ones that are effected.
If you live in a place where your car must pass inspection just kys now because that's a perfect example of a unjust tax.
>pic related is my old BMW it had no low beam headlights, no o2/cat converter, used the outlawed r12 freon, ran rich, leaked a quart of oil a week, and the windshield wipers didn't work. Southern United States is one of the last places true freedom prevails.

>die in a burning wreck because some other faggot didn't thought it was needed to fix the brakes
inspection is gut for recht und ordnung.
>>130571317
Eurocucks will never know the feeling of gutting the catalytic converter on their v8 Camero and blasting fumes into the ozone because of their tyrannical regulations
>>130571633
I don't need the government to help prevent me from such a scenario. Much more likely to get hit by someone texting/drinking while driving. If you don't have the money for a newer car, odds are you don't have money to make your car meet emissions/inspection.
Is it true in Germany you can't even drive a car that's been wrecked until it's fixed?
>>130571726
I drive a w124 300d mercedes without catalytic converter.
Do I do good?

>I don't need the government to help prevent me from such a scenario.
many people are too dumb to fix their own cars so they will drive it until a fatal failure happens.
maybe you won't die from this but some poor bastards will.
>If you don't have the money for a newer car, odds are you don't have money to make your car meet emissions/inspection.
Its not that expensive.
If you can afford a car you can afford the inspection every few years.
>Is it true in Germany you can't even drive a car that's been wrecked until it's fixed?
yes car needs to be in good shape and the inspection needs to happen every 2 years, they will tell you what is wrong and you can go and get it repaired.

Yes. Your country must not be as cucked as some, and many counties in the US.
While we're on the topic of bullshit laws and regs, a few years ago it became mandated you can only buy (((nonspill))) gas cans like pic related. Well the old ones worked just fine, but I can't use a (((nonspill)))) one without getting gas all over my hands, mower, and driveway.
Just go to a shady inspection station. My guy literally looks at nothing at slaps the sticker on, and I flip him a few extra bucks for the service.
It helps having a older car that is exempt from the check engine light inspection failure too, from the 90s.
This is in New York. Ecoterrorist states like Commiefornia are another thing.
>>130572581
Does it apply to older cars as well? Some states allow cars older than ~25 years to be exempt. Do you still see older Bimmers like mine on the road?
>>130571317
Oh yeah that car didn't have a speedometer or odometer either lel

Mind you this is common... Do you want such people on the highway with you ?

>Yes. Your country must not be as cucked as some, and many counties in the US.
It is cucked like all countries but while these old car are still available I will drive them.
>>130573481
Yeh, pretty nice both daily drivers or garage beauties.
Best place to see pristine and killed bimmers is definitely in and around Bayern.
>>130573481
yes every car that wants to use public roads needs inspection and proof of it.
its just 80€ every 2 years.
FUCK OFF auto threads don't belong here
