And I had a dream. It was to learn architectural engineering and trades and integrate them to become an architect.
In high school, I took classes that should have been meeting prerequisites for the engineering side. But the government doesn't recognize their own "education". This is because what k-12 is isn't education. I don't want to hear any metaphysical bullshit. You've never learned to think, you either did it or you survived from those who did.
At Cal Poly they require Calculus 1 & 2 for architectural engineering courses & physics (which has very little to do with structural engineering (2 labs, maybe just 1).
I received an A in materials and methods, but that won't cut it-they want math that is taught in the reverse order, in order so you meet their "educational" requirements. Unless you're taking dynamics of framed structures you don't need to take the derivatives of interacting objects; even if you do-all the labs are computer based so you're not sure if what you're seeing is even real.
I'm not going to take classes I took in high school again and I'm not going to NOT become an architect(there are bullshit laws about even calling/becoming an architect).
We need REAL CHANGE, and if someone doesn't change this, I'm going to call upon my contingency plan!
