why don't we abolish copyright laws?
Then why would people invent anything new?
The basic idea behind copywrite law is to promote inventions: Invent something, you have the copywrite, make money for a few years, copywrite eventually lapses, you dont care cause you've made the money.
If there was no copywrite law, what is to stop you inventing something then Chinese companies pumping out billions of cheap knockoffs?
They favor the jews. Einstein was a certified dipshit but he stole all the patents that came into his office.

from some dipshit off the internet right?

I'd like to add the word "legally" after knockoffs.
Nothing could stop them pumping out billions of cheap knockoffs, but at least with copywrite laws it's not legal.

cheap knockoffs are shit

>Then why would people invent anything new?
We could pay them for their contribution, like we already do with government-funded research.
Why would someone spend millions to make movies and games if no one was going to buy it?
Making it legal means you could have safer websites on the internet to download that stuff. Latest things would be easier to find and so on.

Who decides the contribution amount?
Does Gary who invented a cure for HIV get the same contribution money from the Government as Alice who invented a hair dryer which wipes your arse at the same time?
Is this judging panel susceptible to corruption? Alice could promise to suck all their dicks for £1,000,000 more in contributions to the Dry&Wipe fund.

Gary gets a better job as a researcher, Alice gets a pat on the head and a warm fuzzy feeling,
