Let's discuss how socialism benefited to your country! I am going to talk about France situation!
Fresh engineers graduating from medium school can expect an entry-salary of 35k€, while top-tier engineers can expect 43k€.
Employer and employee contributions are respectively 42% and 25%. Meaning that for this salary, you cost to your boss 50k/61k and you receive 26k/32k after all contributions.
Then you have to pay income tax (2800€ / 4723€ per year), property tax (even if you are only renting, it is around 1k to 2k, depending where you are living) and there is a 20% sale tax.
To have an idea of where is going salary contributions money, in euros per month:
Mandatory Healthcare: 397 / 488
Mandatory Retirement: 839 / 1029
Unemployment insurance: 187 / 229
Taxes on salary (it is a kind of common pool to fill healthcare, retirement and insurance deficits): 262 / 322
Paying allocations to children and single mothers: 100 / 123
Others: 122 / 150
On the other hand, you get the following benefits:
Healthcare: you don't pay any surgery, but you pay hospital rooms (which are around 100e/day). Doctor costs 23e, and you are reimbursed 16e. Almost no reimbursement for glasses or dental care. Sex change operations are fully reimbursed. It is strongly advised to add an optional private healthcare plan, which is around 50 to 80e/month per person.
Retirement: The system consists in paying for current generation while I hope that in 40 years, next generations will pay for me. It costs a lot of money, and the whole system has a huge debt burden. You have to work 40 years, and then you get around 57% of your last 25-year average salaries.
Unemployment: after 6 months worked, you are eligible for unemployment. For each day worked, you have one day of benefit, with a 2-year limit (3-year if you are >50) with 57% of your old salary (even more if you are low wage).
Meaning that if you work 3 years with 2000e/month, you can live 1140e/month for 2 years.

So after all taxes, you have 1951-2311e/month while your boss pays 4252 to 5223 e/month.
You still have a 20% sales tax.
Almost all engineering jobs are in Paris, where you have to pay 70e/month for transportation, 60e/month for private healthcare and a 300ft2 (or 30m2) is around 1000e/month in Paris, 600-700e if you go to suburbs (meaning more than 2hr of transportation each day). Food is around 200 to 400e/month depending on if you eat outside or not.

Btw, with 35k, you are in the richest 30% while with 43k, you are in the richest 19% of France.

How socialism helped to my country:
>free education with no money so the state get debt
>broken inmigration laws
>more poverty
>import haitians who comes to become poors
>hated by chilean workers because they're traitours and they sold them to stranger
Fuck off... socialism doesn't work.
