I work in data analysis and if this story makes it big time with the public, the public will be outraged about something and think it's the Republicans fault, the media will likely fan the fire, and data companies will take this shit even deeper so word doesn't continue to get out that its happening en masse.

However, the more I'm reading, it looks like just GOP voter data, I'm not sure.
They have a ton of reddit posts saved as txt files. I wouldn't be surprised if there was some 4chan somewhere, this is only like 1 terrabyte out of 25 in their data warehouse.
This company apparently accidentally left it up for public download, and upguard looks like they're using it as a PR stunt.
