They will. Look at who negotiates for the EU and who does for the UK.

5 alpha males for the EU - no glasses, the UK has a mixed male-female team with females all with glasses.

its some faggy inside joke. you see the table is symbolic. itsgeneral shape is from the king arther crap. it means that every one at the table is equal

it also means any one not at the table isnt equal. its just a bunch of white people at the table

if they can cry about our election we should have some one there telling them what to do. they still wont shut up about our election and that was months ago

So what is the Uk going to do - not trade security information - and then not get any back, and face teh syrian refugee/returning jihadi mob alone?

you have no idea. weak government, with weak bargaining position going up against a united and huge and strong Eu co-operative... the UK will be lucky to keep its shirt.

anyone can leaver. But having made commitments to certain programmes, you have to live up those commitments.

You join a club and as part of the executive committee you persuade the rest of the members to spend money, promising to contribute your share. then say "I am leaving club, sorry but you don't get your money from me - but I will take the benefits of the programs i got you pay for..."

nope, does not work that way. UK committed to pay, and now owes the money.

by the way, Brit working in france, not french... and watching while my company in the UK is being cut out of deals and loosing orders while the French (very reasonably) protect themselves from future problems and tarrif issues, getting EU suppliers to make the stuff we used to to supply. Because it sets a precedent for other countries to leave the EU and get a special deal, which will inevitably lead to the collapse of the EU. The EU have to give the UK a shit deal, and any brit who talks about UK's economic strength as if it matters is just a useful idiot. EU officials know the UK's economic strength, it is just more worthwhile for them to send a message to the rest of the EU members.
>>

Because Canada will never be a member of the EU and it will never have the euro. The numerous economic deals that bind the EU together required a strengthening of the institution that has led to the forcing of open borders between nations. If Britain is able to use leaving the EU as a means to negotiate a better deal there is no reason why other EU states shouldn't do the same. If they do, the EU falls apart. it is impossible to default.

Dont forget we dont have our own currency, even if we print the drachma, the euro will still be in circulation.

The only way to save greece is for the euro to be destroyed, all greek debt is in euros.

>>130531233
The EU needs to allow Greece to default on its loans so that it can recover.
>>

the hardest part will be figuring out which EU laws to keep and which to replace and which institutions to rebuild. It will take serious time and effort, hope the Tories are up for the job because (((Labour))) will botch it all up I'm sure.
Finally MPs will have to sit on their asses and work real hard for their money.

Syriza was voted in to default on their debt so they could get out of their loan sink bullshit and the EU forced them to take on more loans. It's not greed it's debt peonage.

The EEC was founded to supplement the trade you're talking about. I think European stability is the chief ideal everyone should be concerned about, and I would rather the EU not collapse(with no better alternative) in order to preserve this.

AFAIK all laws and regulations that havent been changed will default to EU laws and regulations on leaving but it is not a good idea to wait for so long and then start replacing them.
Greece indeed will riot into oblivion if they slash their pensions and welfare by 50 % or more

That's 30,000 pieces of legislation, over 2,000,000 pages of laws. You fuckers can't even tell apart what comes from the EU Parliament and what came from Westminster. that a union of nations that had fought two devastating wars against each other for economic reasons in the last century, now working together in free trade, with no tarrifs or national boundaries for people to travel inside, becoming one integrated and prosperous whole, might be a good idea...

ok you have a limited imagination, don't you?
>>
>>130532409
>Yes and it's now becoming a federalised state. We could all go back to just trading. Scrap the EU parliament, courts military etc

I think the military shit is awful but everything else evolved in order to deal with problems with trade. A common currency facilitates thisit, you then need common laws and a more centralised structure to prevent the currency from getting fucked with.

>NATO and Nukes will preserve it.

The US needs one president elected who does not agree with spending american money and lives on european stability and it all goes to shit. I would rather have an institution built for purpose.

I agree it should not become a federalised state, but I don't see how devolving the EU is possible.

what does that mean?

In the UK the only power to make laws is the westminster Parliament, and that cannot be overturned. allEu laws are brought into Uk law by the sovereign will of the people, trough treaty and legislation passed by westminster. we have full autonomy. we are a sovereign nation.

anyone telling you otherwise is lying (Ie all the Leave people)
>>

>ok you have a limited imagination, don't you?
no I'm just not a globalist. We can have free trade and travel without giving up national sovereignity

>>130532706
>I think the military shit is awful but everything else evolved in order to deal with problems with trade
I believe trade can be upheld without a single currency or laws overriding national laws on the level of the EU courts.

>A common currency facilitates thisit
but the Euro is a failure and was from the start. we don't need it

>The US needs one president elected who does not agree with spending american money and lives on european stability and it all goes to shit.
highly unlikely to happen andnot woth sacrificing hte European nation states for. Also the Uk and France has nukes

>I agree it should not become a federalised state
but that's what it inevitably will become unless demolished. I think you know this deel down. I meet a lot of pro EU people who don't want a federalised state but we are becoming one

Eu law overrides national law
Eu courts override national courts
Nations should be able to govern themselves and decide their own trade deals.
nations should control their own borders

>>130533277
>So you agree the EU is a major part of keeping the peace.
not at all. Trade is and we don't need the EU for trade. Trade helps keep the peace between Japan and China aswell

>Nukes keep the peace?
they don't? The cold war would have gone hot were it not for Mutually Assured Destruction
>>
>>130532008
You really think that is a good idea? because that is how you raise non tarrif barriers to trade. The Eu learns that no UK made goods are now conforming to EU safety standards, and so they are all illegal to import, even if there are no tarrif barriers because we keep the customs union.
Regulations are a vital part of international trade agreements. You cannot just scrap everything.

But also, you cannot expect that after leaving EU you will be able to ignore all EU laws and regulations - if you want to export to them you have to comply. So Uk outside Eu will have to comply, with no seat at the table when the laws are being made and no way to object to regulations that are unfair to UK manufacturing.

So we end up worse off than we were as incredibly powerful members of the EU who wrote the laws ourselves and vetoed the ones we didn't like.

foot shot.
