If you drive two Hummers, then you are at 150 carbon points. These carbon points are issued by the government, and you are only allowed to spend 100 per year. It okay thought because you can pay money for the excess pollution you emit. There is also an exchange. The Gore Tyson Carbon Exchange, or GTCE. The GTCE will allow you to also purchase carbon points from your neighbor. Your neighbor doesnt drive two hummers, instead he drives a bicycle. Your neighbors yearly carbon points are only 50. So you can buy his carbon points.
