I've noticed that there is a growing concern over the expansion of Artificial Intelligence including high ranking members of society, like Elon Musk and Steven Hawking, condemning it. I believe that we need to stop the spread of this. With the expansion of AI, the need of human workers becomes minuscule. We can't have that! Store clerks are already being replaced by self checkout and grab-n-go by Amazon. I don't want to get into the ridiculous speculations and conspiracy theories about the JQ using Ai and thinking about AI overthrowing mankind but that is a likely possibility seeing as if you introduce a being that is better and stronger than it's predecessor, it replaces it. I believe we need to band together and form a coalition against this threat

This so much. When people think of AI, they think of their lives being easier by not having to do X. But in reality, the computer is having "its life" improved by taking humans completely out of X. You're happy you don't need to drive a car anymore, well the self driving car is the one who doesn't need you anymore.
