Southern pride is a joke, and the more they boast about their origins and flaunt it like insecure losers, the more we become aware of how backward they are. No surprise that while they think they're noble stuff and delusional boast about their etiquette and their Southern gentlemen, they have in fact made themselves the laughing stock of the rest of the world.
