If the U.S was to build a wall it would be giving up hegemony in Latin America(good thing.) The U.S government does not operate in the interest of its people (no duh) it operates in the interest of empire at the expense of its citizens
Citizens Jobs(letting in illegals to make Latin America dependent on remittances and making it economically weak)
Citizen security(sending citizens to die in foreign wars increasing anti-Americanism)
Citizen living conditions(every dollar spent on weapons is a dollar not spent on infrastructure)
Citizen wealth(middle class pays higher taxes than the wealthy)
We are an empire in decline and an empire operates for the elite not for its citizens. Don't think you benefit from American imperialism you suffer from it
The political right does not have the answer

Do any political right pundits ever mention the USS Liberty and Israel?
I always thought the wall was just bullshit he wouldn't do, and was surprised when i saw him talking about it even after he was elected
I still think he won't do it, but i think he -might- make a piece here and there. And i think he probably will speed up, or even get started on that around the end of his presidency. Nothing more than that though.
There's no way he's even going to cover 5% of the border with a wall, even if he gets 8 years to do it.
It's not going to happen

I didn't say a wall wouldn't work. A wall would be a great thing, but it will never be built because it would go against U.S imperialist interest
