Have anyone else watch this yet? What were the best parts? Was Putin convincing with his answers to Oliver Stone's questions
>>
>>130377940
I don't know how genuine Putin is but it was certainly a redpilling experience for Stone when he did interviews and promos in the leftist media and got mocked and derided by the people he thought were his friends.
>>
Watched it

Pretty gud

Alot of geopolitical redpills and top tier banter

It's a must watch if you want to fullyunderstand current political events

Putin is an untrustworthy fuck, but he doesn't even need to lie to olly stone in order to make the US look bad. That cheeki breeki fuck told the truth in every episode and made every faggot american politician of the last thirty years look like a clown.

Pretty good, wasn't convinced by his answers to accusations of Putin replacing old oligarchs with his own oligarchs
>>
>>130379906
Think he made it pretty clear that the old oligarchs were puppets of the west subverting the country for the benefit of the West turning the country into a shithole. His oligarchs at least have an interest of maintaining a successful Russia.
>>
>>130379906
I was because I've read upon the issue.

Putin really btfoed uberkikes out of his country
Apex kike, globalist agent Hordokovsky for example was only a step away from consolidating power of all media in Russia and already was eyeing the presidency

Without Putin Russia would be a literal liberal hellhole like colony

That Russia is inherently corrupt and you can't totally eliminate oligarchw is another issue. So Putin had to find a way with the less kikier oligarchs and make them work for him
Only thing htat was plain lie was the multicultural maymay line
Russia's whole history is that of christian white Russians btfoing Kikes and muzzies, yet Putin shamelessly says that Russia was always a multiethnic society with zero conflict between the 3 religions

RuFed was a mistake.
Restoration of Imperial Russia when

watching the final episode today, which I assume will be about the elections. so far it's really good. vlad seems to be really knowledgeable about current events and the reasoning behind decisions.
>>
>>130377940
I've watched 2.5 episodes and it's very interesting to see how frankly Putin answers most questions. It's also neat seeing that the same man who undoubtedly has ordered a lot of people to either disappear or have mysterious heart attacks is also fairly charismatic. I don't necessarily trust him with all his answers, but his reasoning is usually consistent. He seems to have Russia's best interest in mind instead of only being a gangster or commie fuckwad.

It's pretty good. Hilarious how absurd the entire situation is to Putin. Now he is sanctioned for "hacking" U.S. elections (Germany and Austria already protested against this btw.)
>>
>>130379906

Yeah, anything to do with internal Russian politics coming from Putin you had to parse with a giant grain of salt. Same with questions regarding his activities abroad. Most of the things he had to say about the U.S. and their involvement with Eastern Bloc countries and NATO and certainly their promotion of Jihadist doctrine and insurgencies is stuff that most /pol/acks are already very familiar with.

They're also things Democrats/Liberals will simply dismiss as fiction.
>>
>>130383432

>brainwashed by liberals

Except Liberals deny anything Putin accuses the U.S. of in this series as ever having happened.

That's why this current timeline is so marvelous. Everyone switched chairs.

Putin for most of the time makes logical sense. He does not really talk like Obama, man who really did not make sense.

All the "refutations" of his interviews can be countered with the fact that, this is something Putin thinks is worth saying for reasons. So they're valuable.

He was as honest as a politician can be, more then most Americans to be sure, and naturally he had talking points. You can see the cuts they made when he was thinking of responses, but when your job is talking to people like this you get used to it. After watching the Colbert/Stone interview linked earlier I feel that Stone was more interested in getting something out that wasn't MSM bullshit, even if he had to sacrifice pushing on some issues. There's only so much detail a President can go into, especially with foreign press, regarding the goings on of the state.

Thant's not the feeling I got, he seems more of a man who's lived in a country where change wasn't always a good thing, people suffered, and now the rest of the world is screaming about change and progressiveness while he's a bit more cautious. He cares for his country and his people and I think it would destroy him as a person to have that level of suffering happen to Russia under his watch. He seems willing and able to take whatever action is necessary for the preservation of Russia's sovereignty and he's painted as a villain for it so be it, he believes he has the people behind him. I don't doubt he took the money from the oligarchs he removed, and why wouldn't he? We see the corporations and billionaires like Soros throwing money around and mucking things up in America, if you could prevent that manner of subversion why wouldn't you. As to if he kept it or not I don't know, haven't seen any proof

Just because Putin maintains "good relations" with the jew doesn't mean he is allied with the jew
In ep3 he specifically mentions travelling to israel and meeting sharon and refers to it as being "in a place where nobody can be trusted"
Trying to associate Putin with communism is just a dirty trick of theirs...The jew hijacked his country for over 70 years. Just because he worked for the apparatus of the jew does not make Putin one of them

No Putin doesn't have America's best interests at heart. He has Russia and Putin's best interests at heart. Why would it be any different?
Peace with Russia is the best thing for America and the rest of the world. Why wouldn't it be at this point? They're not the same menace we should have been fighting in the 40's, instead of tackling Hitler and the NSDAP. Of course we should have sided with Germany then, and of course Hitler should've maintained a 1 front war or moved on Moscow instead.
And also, if the Russians did "hack our election", personally I couldn't give a fuck less. They could not have gotten to the votes directly. Influenced the election, yes. Either way, if Putin was directly involved in saving us from Hilldog, he's the best thing to happen to us thus far in the 21st century.

just goes to show the common denominator in the alliance falling apart was the jews, after the socialism and the bolsheviks and red october they seized control
even before/after WW1 we stuck with them (whites), before the threat was truly known. Karl Marx to Lenin was a big jump, despite the similarities. Even Marx was not wanted in Prussia, but was more an intellectual than an evil man willing to trick others into seizing power. Lenin and Trotsky under the banner of revolution for the working people, with their revolutionary names to hide the truth, led to all of this. Putin is trying to clean up that mess now, unfortunately it takes time

I personally think that Putin had final say in presentation between Stone and Showtime, as far as what is shown and how it was edited.
Regardless of what you think of Trump, there is a very clear Putin vs Clinton thing going on. Putin opposes Clinton, who is a vassal of Israel (you know, the Kikes, since you have an NSDAP flag certainly you're not fond of them right). Clinton obviously opposes Putin and Russia in general. Anyone who would deny that has an obvious disconnect with reality.
Putin has basically sorted Russia's business out. I think he sees in Trump the potential to do that. If nothing else, he sees Trump as a reasonable person he can negotiate with, as opposed to Clinton, who is only interested in Wall Street and propping up the military industrial complex for her family's personal gain.
So tell me, "National Socialist", you would pick Hillary Clinton over Vladimir Putin?

Libtards with their 2 dimensional thinking cannot comprehend it. That he is espousing both ethnic and civic nationalism, with somewhat socialist policies, despite having previously worked in the communist government (which he repeatedly points out, for those of us paying attention, was little different than Tsarist rule, only the people playing the guitar being the difference)
Oliver Stone obviously has his personal opinions and a bit of slant that is woven into the narrative, that much is plain as daylight for anyone to see, but they shouldn't have been surprised that he wasn't going to get on his knees and suck DNC donkey dick with this series. His last big one, Untold History of America, was not exactly favorable towards obammy and the clintons

Right now it's in his and Russia's interest to tell the truth now.
It was especially telling at the ice hockey stadium when he told Stone that Russia didn't have the means for mass collection of data, but would love to.
He's a smart man, and in perfect condition for a 65-year-old. Few would be able to stay in power in Russia as it is now, and he seems to keep it on track.

Putin's argument about 'balance' that needs to be existing between E and W is pointless in today's world. It's more of a seizmograph, with America being the anchor and East Asia a high plateau with Europe on the decline. My only doubt about Russia's future concerns feasibility of 'shift' away from fossil fuels and gas. If West can do that, Russia will experience a decline. If not, Europe will go on an economic seesaw and America will start losing military bases in the next 30 years.

What education I have tells me fossil fuels and gas are untouchable and electricity, wind, solar etc will not be able to fill the void. I am not completely certain, far from it. State model of resource control should beat out the corporate one in the end; as evidenced by Musk's swindles corporate schemes can indeed take over government funding at the expense of a nation.

In case of russia and Putin the "oligarchs" are completely cucked by him. When he still was a fresh prez he cucked and but in prison the richest person in Russia who owned all of Russias gas and oil (of course aquired by not fair means). It does not need to be diversified per se, we need to revive the huge soviet industry that was shattered during 90s. Each small to medium 1m ppl town had couple of machine factories and good industries, nowadays the overall number is much smaller. Another thing is corruption, however it is not Putins fault.

Oliver stone is a film maker (often fictional and not a journalist). His main motivation is to make cool/interesting/good movies. Also his earlier movies are all, critical to america, Platoon has scenes that shows american soldier tortures Vietnam civilians. Im sure Purin and his people accepted his interviews based on this. Still a good movie/series, but there is nobody tricking anyone here, its just a side of a story that is interesting rather than political, and Putin will only gain by getting that image across
>>
It was pretty good actually, it cleared up certain elements for me such as the Ukraine revolution and the break up of the USSR. this is true. I find this interview very interesting because it's specifically Oliver Stone and Putin talking, and not someone pretending to be an objective observer when everyone understands that true emotionless objectivity and the discovery of an absolute truth is impossible outside of a laboratory.

What putin really wants, is thinking, and intends to do will be completely unknowable to us, and history, until it's further in the past and not happening right this second where we can only see it through someone else's lens and filters.

>>130412836

well in fairness, if we assumed the worst of putin and assumed he is acting in bad faith it makes sense he would be saying these exact things, how much of a leap that is depends on the viewer's perspective. like, a sufficiently clever evil doer would work very hard to appear to be the good guy at all times.

it sucks, putin could go to dc hat in hand and beg for earnest friendship and people would still say "this is exactly what a backstabber would do!", and it wouldn't be an incorrect statement (to say that a backstabbed would want to be accepted as a friend to get close etc). when distrust is this bad, it really is hard to distinguish between good intentions and bad ones.

Im russian born in the USSR. Everything Russia has now with what it can feel "proud" is soviet legacy:
-free housing for almost every pleb
-universal medicine
-universal kindergarden and schools
-free universities (if u are not a dumbfuck)
-muh nukes (used to be the biggesxt arsenal in the world before yeltsin melted couple of thousands of them for (((them))
-russians are not worthless per se, BUT WE NEED TO PRODUCE OUR HEAVY MACHINERY AND LIGHT MACHINERY, OUR INDUSTRY IS PATHETIC, yes putin is PARTLY (1/4) to blame but the most blame is on the people and all the little "managers" and bureucratic trash in between the russian top and bottom.

made me laught. Putin said only about his eprsonal and state values. in Russian Federation there are a fucking lot different cultures and values. compare buddhists areas with fucking shamas in the Kamchatka or Muslims in Kaukasus. each of those areas can literally shit on putin when it comes to traditional values because he has no power to make any order in such matters at all. it is solved all on local level with even fucking "comitee of the oldest" where are citing literally the oldest representative of people living in that area and local government has to follow their recomendations.

Saw it all and it's no different from Putin's press conferences to be honest. Better visuals, but other than that Stone couldn't really trick Putin into saying anything new or controversial. It's still a good flick if you want to see Putin's perspective, but at the end of the day it's all spin, the truth is somewhere in the middle. No politician will REALLY tell you why he started a war or bombed a country.

To get back our late-USSR level of machinery production we need to have comparable market. Soyuz was almost 300 in 1991, plus Warsaw Treaty population. We have 145M now. Ukraine's 50M totally lost (along with some technology lines). Without good sales you will get Best Korea tier products.
Our MIC feels better not only bc of its quality but also bc of a bigger market for it. Putin is right when he's playing around customs union, Shanghai organization, Silk road, etc.
We also need cheeper money and thats another big issue.

This. His honesty with Oliver Stone really shines through, since the truth in itself is so damaging to the United States.

But on the flipside, he's most likely just as bad as his Western counterparts. In his own words, he said that if Russia had the technical capabilities of the US, they'd do exactly what the NSA does.

All in all, it's a 9/10 documentary. Stone should have pressed a little more when it became apparent that Putin was getting uncomfortable.

Russians don't want that yet they whine and expect Putin to just come and wave a magic stick magically turning Russia prosperous

watch all of them- some observations

our politics in the US is too reliant on the personality of our politicians... if putin was an american & ran for president he would NEVER win...

>putin, intelligent, meticulous, remembers the numbers very well.

>seems like someone who is willing to cut deals politically; not an ideologue.

>he's lies & is comfortable with doing so as he's been in power so long , he has his punch lines/talking points memorized. sometimes he makes creative responses.

he has a fitting personality for a statesman, he has substance unlike trump.

Thus, sexual orientation will not affect the commissioning of military service. However, there are some nuances here too.
