Half-greek burger here. Admittedly, our culture doesn't exactly emphasize generosity. We're a lot like the Jews in some respects - overly proud of our heritage, tribal, love to argue etc. We're probably worse landlords.

However, I've heard that the Greeks in Greece aren't as money-grubbing as the ones who left. The theory is that while the migrants were poor (which they used as an excuse to be greedy), they still looked at their new neighbors condescendingly. "Our forebears created democracy/philosophy/etc" and all that shit. Yet another argument for nationalism.

But not all of us suck. And most of the rest are at least aware of their shittiness, and don't mind being called on it. Which is more than I can say for some of the people posting here...

Probably similar to every other land lord... wants money on time, never wants to spend any $ maintaining the property even when necessary.

Now that I think about it, every landlord I ever had seems pretty jew-y to me.
