Seriously this is one of those things that Canadian patriots on /pol/ can actually do something about even if it is just to a small extent. Talk to your friends about the Red Ensign, explain to them what it is a what it means. I'm in college and most people I talk to about it don't even know we had a different flag. Buy one and put it up, they are $20-30. If you can afford it buy a flag pole outside your house or for much less money you can mount a flag on the outside of your house. Buy a Red Ensign patch and put it on your backpack, hat or shirt. We probably will never be able to restore the Red Ensign but we could make it a major cultural symbol and make sure every single Canadian recognizes it.

I think the eagle from the Great Seal has a lot of potential as a fashy symbol in America. The Eagle is an ancient symbol of power in Europe and beyond, yet this version is quintessentially American.

As much as I like the hakenkreutz, I doubt that it can be used effectively as an American symbol.
