Other departments have shit training. One of the ones near me literally was teaching cops to treat EVERYBODY as a potential lethal threat. That cost the city a pretty penny in wrongful death lawsuits. The commander of the swat team for that department told a person I know that he had to retrain his guys to get them away from that mentality. Then they shot a homeless guy, and the city went nuts, and the department retrained it's cops on the use of force, and also went full retard with making the cops do paperwork for every physical contact while on duty, when the retraining was all that was needed.

On any given day without going on a road trip, I could encounter cops from one out of 5 departments, anon. Let me tell you, some departments are better than others.

In nearly every single encounter one can have while being pulled over by police simply following orders (common sense ones like hands were they can be seen and answering basic questions, not bootlicking retard shit people think police try to make people do) will lead to a very short exchange that can then be taken to court if one disagrees with the police. Look I have no sympathy for any of the other major cases of black guys that got shot. They all deserved it for their actions. Just so you know where I am coming from. He did the right thing in declaring he had a weapon, but then he reached for something without asking the officer that wasn't even in the officer's view. I know that, and I know there are corrupt cops that need to be held accountable for their actions that are going to skirt the system. This is why "the talk about cops" myth black families have is bullshit. Despite the jokes about doughnuts and "bake 'em away toys", it's a dangerous job. Every encounter they have could turn violent.
