You guys do realize that if Ossoff wins his Georgia district (which polls suggest will happen), it's absolutely over for the Trump presidency, right? The GOP is going to go into straight panic mode, and they will have no choice but to distance themselves from Trump in order to limit the amount of house seats they will lose.

Looking at it pragmatically, at that point what value does Trump have to them? You could say the GOP has tolerated Trump because they thought they could use him as a distraction to make way on the Republican agenda or because of their super-pro-Trump constituents. But the former has not worked and the latter becomes irrelevant when sticking with Trump causes them to lose seats they should be winning.

Let's say Ossoff wins. Suddenly there will be a lot more conservatives who take the Russia investigation and obstruction of justice seriously. Fox News will still be pro-Trump but less pro-Trump in order to prepare their audience. Trump will probably start making threats to negotiate the terms of a resignation (eg an immediate pardon from Pence). I don't see him being impeached because he'll realize it's over before it gets to that point. Resigning will let him save face and his freedom.
