Trump did not create this divide and neither did Hillary. Our Media did this because its gets them clicks and views, which gets them money. That is it. They need something to keep people's attention and, generally, media comes with a more liberal bias. But even shit like Fox News panders to this same ideology where getting views and clicks because it means more money.

This game has been going on for a long while now. News media has stopped being journalistic and non-partisan/non-moderate for a while now. You will no longer see news stories, but click bait and topical headlines with no substance from either side. There is no thinking or involvement, there is no reporting. These people literally pay people to look at twitter for tweets and make reports/articles out of that for tons of cash.

It honestly doesn't matter who rules over the media because these guys want only one thing: money. Power is pointless without money and they just want money to remain in power. But its not the kind of megalomaniac kind of power that wants to rule the world, but rather that of the almighty dollar that drives them. These people in the media would turn their own children into news stories for a few dollars, regardless of the content or context. The media itself NEEDS this divide to control content and context to ensure cash flow to themselves, even if it means purposefully dividing people to get it, because its how they make their news stories.

TL;DR: The media created this divide for cash because they are greedy shits that do not care about the world around them. They are truly the largest collective of cash-grabbing misanthropes there is.
