my brother had to put his doggo to sleep yesterday. she was really old and had cancer. great doggo, great life. a hospice vet came to the house and gave her the medication to put her down after a lovely chat and some reminiscing. it was the saddest but most beautiful thing i have ever been a part of.

too bad gramma had to suffer with pneumonia, sepsis and throat in the hospital for 2.5 months before she finally died in a place that smelled of disinfectant and decay.
