any one here still interested, in geo political happenings, or are we too be stuck in , muh race mixing, muh (((tribe))) , muh feel feelies, chinese now in a position to fire data via quantum from space, and they claim it cannot be breeched, thoughts on implications (pol)

Really seems interesting but i'm too stupid to understand any of it
>>
>>130225041
Mehh just hope this whole world civilisation collapses desu
>>
>>130225041
The implications are mind boggling. Yet, it might also be an Achilles heel. With tech that is so sophisticated, there is sure to be bugs to exploit. Their flagship is made of silk and glass.
>>
lmao who the fuck buys this bullshit?
China, the country that wants to control what websites you're able to visit, how long you can play games and how many kids you're allowed to have is interested in an internet infrastructure where the traffic cant be decrypted or controlled.

Sure ... mhmm
>>
>>130225041
I bet the Chinese will try to hold a monopoly on this tech. They could make billions off of it by creating state run ISPs.
>>
>>130225041
Just means we can't listen in any more. It'll be a military tool to protect sensitive orders to planes and ships outside of china.
>>
>>130225550
dont need to understand the specifics
basically in place of hardware 0s and 1s you have quantum entangled photons between a satellite and an lab
they want to use these particles to send info back and forth with no need for encryption because there is no middle ground for interception, the information is instant due to the nature of the quantum level (entangled particles defying space-time)

imagine, a new quantum internet in a decade
>>
>>130225041

Don't forget to use Win10 when you receive this data, good boy.

you do pose an interesting scenario however - I wonder into the future if they will be able to program these particles themselves, without a need for hardware beyond the preexisting blank slate

Yeah, no benefits there at all. It's not like the NSA spends millions a year getting network taps in all the infrastructure in America as it is.

White people could have been doing this. Instead we chose to feed niggers and build mosques.
>>
>>130227534
you wont be able to intercept something that for all intents and purposes sends information that disappears from perceivable reality then reappears at another location before we're able to even register it ie instant information transfer

until we're able to measure and identify how its working, there is no chance of interception

but it all rests on their ability to utilise these particles to begin with

Location agnostic means the entangled photon pairs can be anywhere. You still have to get them to the location where you want to read/write them you retard. Thats what the satelite does.

To dumb this one (there are more) principles of quantum communication down with the common analogy for you. You basically create two pieces of magic paper. If you write something on magic paper its appears on the other paper no matter where the other papers is. You still have to transfer the paper to their locations.

do you not understand the concept of entangled particles, or binary code? How is data impossible to send if you have a binary system that can pass information through code that relies on a binary state, ie binary code? its not like they are sticking information or code into the particles then having them send and receive it like packets
the particles themselves are the 0s and 1s

They actually are because all your funding goes to taccos, niggers, trannies and feminism.

It was a pipedream (pun intended) to use satelites instead of vacuum pipes at universities all over the world . But guess what? Satelites are expensive and our Western universities have to spend the little budget they have on diversity hirings, gender programs and pushing niggers trough courses. They had to watch China just try it and succeed.
>>
>>130230763
>>130230881
When you have a pair of entangled particles, they are both in a superposition state.
When you collapse the quantum state of one of the particles to see its spin, you know what's the state of the other (it's the opposite). Doing that makes both particles stop being entangled.
You don't make the particles flip to send a message, you just look what state the other has. It's the equivalent of having two boxes, one containing a blue ball and another containing a red ball. You send them to separate places, whoever opens the box knows what's the color of the other, but can't use it to send a message.
Even if you could (Which is physically impossible), sending a message that way would break causality by going faster than the speed of light. It cannot happen.
>>
>>130231451
Okay, interesting. So what's with the chinks in OP?
>>
these threads always display how fucking retarded the average poster here is lol
>>
Did they really defeat the speed of light
>>
>>130231609
They are using it to encrypt the information, not transmit it.
>>
>>130231451
How's this useful if it can't send messages or be toggled
>>
>>130231979
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E79AKRusjOQ
>>
>>130231451
If you know what color each box is
then you know the state of each
which means its either 0 or 1
meaning it can be used in conjunction with other particles to send information
like I said before and you obviously didnt read
its not like its sending information in a packet of entangled particles
the particles, having 0/1 states, what composes the message
>>
>>130232042
They send encrypted keys by beaming rays of light. They don't use the entanglement itself to transmit the information
>>
>>130225041

I read a proof the other day that said quantum entangled particles wont be able to pass information? Does anyone know what is real anymore?
>>
>>130232106
But that's wrong, you fucking retard.
You don't know the state of those particles until you collapse their quantum state. You cannot alter it. You don't know if you're going to get a 0 or a 1. You will only get a random string of 0s and 1s, while the other guy will get an OPPOSITE random string of 0s and 1s
>>
>>130232415
thats not whats being proposed but what is currently available, no?
>>
>>130226200
>the information is instant
lol
>>
>>130232553
The particles sent have an entangled quantum state. It's an encryption key. The objective is that if someone who doesn't have the entangled pair receives the signal, the quantum state of the photons change and thus they cannot decipher the message.
>>
>>130232848
Cool I misread OP as saying "needing no encryption"
>>
>>130225975

And how the fuck do you access the backdoor? You connect to the fucking network that the machines are on. You won't be able to do that with this magical quantum shit. There's a reason why communication via quantum entanglement is such a big deal you fucking retard, no one would be pouring millions into research for it if it wouldn't offer benefits.
>>
The chinks are working with Austrians for those who thinks this is just "propaganda", lol.

And if you read up on the subject, it was an Austrian scientist that tried to do this but didn't get his funding, so his chink assistant went to China to start a quantum lab there instead. The Austrian scientist then went to cooperate with this Chinese lab.

And that is how China will rule the world.

>>
>>130234604
That's called basic research, you idiot. You need to understand something with BASIC research before you can do APPLIED research and put that knowledge to use.

China has more money to throw around in cutting-edge science than anyone else, combined with less moral compulsions for things like gene editing technology and nuclear power. They're already dominant in things like solar power and commercial drones.

Instead of wasting that money in endless wars with sandniggers or even more bonuses for the disloyal mega-rich, they're dumping that money into R&D to make their country stronger and better. You know, "Make China Great Again".

The only way to "hack" a quantum network is to buy off the people on the ends.

You cannot get someone in-between, because of quantum. If you look at it while in transit from A to B, it changes and no longer works. That's why it's "unhackable", because people on the ends will know when their communication is compromised.

Quantum is some weird shit, and quantum entanglement even more weird shit that can exceed the speed of light.

So far as I know entangled particles are pairs, you'd need one pair for every network and person connecting to that network.
