If they're too lazy to get jobs then they're definitely too lazy to actually cook for themselves. Also 99% of home cooked meals are cultural appropriations.

Speak for yourself. I still drive over to mama's daily for her meals. Being a Euro has it's advantages though.
Also I cook all the time.
they work too much to be able to cook for theirselves
I make almost all of my meals at home. Take-out hamburgers are fun, though.

Sugar, sugar, sugar.

I love home cooked meals, can usually only BBQ on the weekend.
Usually do hour days. Between that, maintaining a house, trying to get some/fit/ in, and some musical stuff I do as a hobby with friends cooking regularly is simply out of the question.
When I do cook, it's something like just baking a ton of pork chops up and boiling a bunch of perogies I can eat during the week.
Being a single guy and actually trying to cook GOOD meals on top of managing work and a home is fucking impossible. It REQUIRES a significant other to manage all the shit that has to be done. That or im a just a fucking piece of garbage person. I simply cannot invest 2 hours a night in foodprep and cleaning dishes and hope to get anything else done.

this.

unironically this. I've been raised by a single mother who hadnt had the time to make anything beyond a basic meal. Now I'm older and cooking for my household myself I have the time to actually try new stuff.
We never go fastfood or pre-packed meals or anything though. Just very basic home-made stuff.

Get a crock/croc-pot and get a few recipes on the inter-webs. Its super easy: toss crap in pot night before in fridge. Turn on in morning and done when you get home at night. Tasty, healthy and your home will actually smell like home
