8/pol/ is a no fun allowed board. I been there for over a year hoping that it'd become better than this place but to no avail. They ban you over the slightest and most paranoid things. They regularly sticky natsoc infodumps in that name of "it's to show examples of quality threads" despite other ideologies never getting a sticky despite similar levels of quality. They have a gay ass separate meta board that does diddly squat. Threads have arbitrary quality requirements which results in the catalog becoming swamped in walls of text but with little variety and traffic within such threads. The only fun threads were the webmaster threads until they eventually devolved into constant serious natsoc propaganda using the same webmaster over and over again. You'll also find that they don't really make a whole lot of OC and take a lot of content from here. Its no surprise that their unique IPS are slowly dying down into stagnation. Also their population loves and defends anime more than this site which is one aspect I actually like.

If your looking for super serious no fun allowed discussion then it's for you. Personally I like to have variation between serious discussion and fun discussion. With them, it's basically 24/7 activism.
