I know about the hadith. but the Quran greatly outweighs the hadith. Plus hadith aren't accurate sources, they sometimes contradict each other. For the 9yo thing for example, if you refer to the age of her sister at the time of birth, it makes Mo's last wife 19 years old and not 9.

Also, Quran 7:80-84 is where Lot's story is told, it calls for their death really since it tells you to look at how the people who practiced the evil ended up (stoned) and Lot is a prophet so yes, it does call for it.

There are like you say, many non issues with islam, i would even go as far as to say if women really want to wear a burka they can :/

BUT there are some VERY key issues with islam and its intergration in secular states, i'll outline in 3 points below:

1. Death to apostates
This is unique to islam, even as a hollow threat, its still a threat.
Any "club" you can join but not leave is more a cult than a club.

2. Makes demands of non-believers
Just because they are muslim, doesn't give them rights over my liberty.
You see this in increasing amounts as muslim population grows in a nation.

3. Holy book makes political claims.
Namely 'world calipahte', but also zero separation of church and state in general.
The whole idea of 'sharia' is a religion governed state.

These 3 issues are at the very core of the 'islam problem' and from them come the existential threat it poses on western civilization but also any secular state.

In my honest opinion there is no easy solution. It's certain reform or even ideas of it are laughable, ask yourself why a tiger would remove its claws?

The only semi-peaceful solution would be to someone outlaw Islam in the west based on the above 3 stating it is a political ideology, more akin to communism than religion, but this would inevitably lead to mass unrest.

Exactly. Actually, there's different grades given to the different Ahadith:
1) Sahih - The most trusted ones and virtually all hadith here are authentic. Al Bukhari and Muslim were two scholars who spend their lives trying to compile the most authentic hadith. They had a very strict guidelines as to whose narration they could trust. They would consult their relatives and friends to know about their character and whether they've lied in the past or not.

3) Da'if - This is where the weak hadith come in. Muslims tend not to trust them and only stick to the above two.

If you had taken the time to read the Hadiths issued by many of the prominent judges in Islam you would have seen just how bad things have gotten with regards to the moral and ethical degradation of the Islamic faith.

Furthermore I have been on muslim boards and seen boards where over 50 % of the comments about terrorist attacks are sympathetic.

OP, you're partially correct. Most of the sects of Islam are more reasonable than they are given credit for. But unfortunately, the Islamic world has it's own version of the kikes, the Wahhabis.
