thats interesting because one of my good friends that works in his organization told me over a beer couple of days ago that they are being to look into the Clinton Foundation. He mentioned that its a huge job because there are so many years of data, and so many countries involved.

I would think this has to do with that. You don't need 13 new people, effectively doubling the org to look at 6 months of info on Trump.
>>

You are stating "this guy wants to state an argument, but can't." This doesn't make any sense, because there isn't an argument to be made regarding the original post.

I hope so. The ultimate goal is to stress him out. If he makes some bad calls with Republican support he could destroy the whole party. God I hope ignorance keeps him and legislative branch in power long enough to fuck over all the poor white trash that elected him.
>>
>>130162531
Depending on what they find he will be. Republicans are the party of law and order, his approval in his main base will drop considerably if they find something bad + the spin that the media will give to it. Once that happens they won't have a choice but impeach him.

Don't get me wrong, I agree with Trump 100% that this thing is a total witch hunt, you can't just unilaterally start investigating every aspect of the current president using taxpayer money because you don't like him. But unfortunately it's the reality of things.

Luckily, we are still not sure what Mueller is actually doing. For example him staffing up could be just a way of speeding up the investigation so that we can move on.

You don't seem to realize that at this point in time what they actually need to find to shift the support of his base is simply beyond the pale. IOW fabricating convincing enough evidence is going to have to be so big it will never have legs. They literally can't.

Drumpf has 40% approval? Media has 6%!
They. can't.
They are stuck with perma-hysteria, because nothing will stick. If tomorrow morning the NYT releases a video of Donald raping Ivanka and Eric while eating a baby alive confirmed legit by 500 experts Trump's base will just laugh at them and ridicule it.

That's the price the media is going to pay for their treason and nobody seems to be able to come to terms with it yet. They have, literally, exhausted the patience of the American public. We now have 50 to 100 million people who actively wish them dead and won't believe a word of what they are saying regarding Trump, because the Soviet-style witch hunt is too obvious.

The Deep State has two choices, and two choices only:
>Forcefully remove Trump (obviously bogus impeachment, assassination) and hope that Americans don't call their bluff
>Leave him where he is while trying to isolate him, but his position is way too powerful for them to be safe doing so on the long run, as he can still move his pawns on the chessboard and fuck them.

you make a good point, I imagine this is hyperbole

But my case is that Mueller might find something real, so even if what prompted the investigation was a literal conspiracy theory, there might be illegalities commited in the trump transition team (face it, ever campaign has them), and if they are factual and the media spins it I'm not so sure where people's trust is going to be. If Trump did do something wrong, and the reps don't punish him for it, it will be no different than doing nothing to hillary over the emails, and this will be coming back to haunt the party.

"reports" by who? The longer they keep up the witch hunt, the less effective it becomes, and that it's nothing but harassment becomes clear.
>>
Here are the facts CNN/CTR/Shills...

Fact: The President has the authority to order the FBI to stop an investigation.

Fact: Comey testified Trump did not order him to stop the investigation.

Fact: Comey testified that it "would be a big deal" if he was ever told to stop an investigation for inappropriate reasons and that this had never happened.

Fact Trump did not order Coney to stop therefore no obstruction

Fact If tommorow Trump orders anyone in the FBI to stop an investigation it is still not obstruction as all Presidents have this power.

Don't remember, but it seems reasonable to me that if the council is investigating collusion, they must investigate the places where collusion might appear. Like business dealings. The money is real. A nothingburger investigation could net them some nice scratch for no work.

They might be embellishing how many lawyers he actually hired.

A good chunk of those could work for a consulting firm or something. If they are sifting through financial disclosures and a lot of paperwork, he probably needs people who can read and make sense of convoluted shit.

If Trump fires Mueller if Rosenstein recuses himself then those dudes probably still get paid because of contracts and shiet,
>>
>>130165095
Actually they can't impeach a President if he does something the left or indeed the right does not like or else every single President would be impeached in a constant daily basisThe facts are....

Fact: The President has the authority to order the FBI to stop an investigation.

Fact: Comey testified Trump did not order him to stop the investigation.

Fact: Comey testified that it "would be a big deal" if he was ever told to stop an investigation for inappropriate reasons and that this had never happened.

Fact Trump did not order Comey to stop therefore no obstruction

Fact If tommorow Trump orders anyone in the FBI to stop an investigation it is still not obstruction as all Presidents have this power.

Based on facts and law there are no grounds for even an investigation of Donald.

The reality is criminal elements within the government want to illegally smash democracy by over turning the election...this is also known by the shorter term...coup d'etat

He can't fire him though, not without a REALLY good reason.

If he can't fire him, Mueller WILL draw this out as long as possible, even if it's just to hook up his friend's kids with sweet jobs or internships that look GREAT on a resume. He'd be a fool not to.

The ONLY way Trump can beat this is to call an investigation into Mueller's Clinton investigation, and throw every resource he has into finding every detail he can to destroy his character and paint him as a crook, con artist, shyster lawyer, etc.

Once Mueller is poison, THEN he can fire him and gut the special investigation.

Investigating the Clinton investigation is the best way to do this, because the Dems would NEVER say no to it. He could bring forward Clinton's accusers again, and any attempt to stop Trump looks like they're hurting females who were victims of sexual assault.

It's a brilliant angle.
The only problem is that Trump doesn't have any investigators or people in the intelligence community he can trust to do the investigation and not leak EVERYTHING.

So, Trump needs to institute a new branch of the Executive Administration designed to track down, investigate, and provide evidence to DoJ to punish corruption and graft in the government.

Then he needs to hand pick every single high level appointment to this new law enforcement division, and get them to hire the best investigators and lawyers loyal to him to do his work.

Not going to happen though.

>>
>>130166594
Yes. They'd need to establish a factual relationship between evidence linking it to the original purpose of their investigation, and prove that it is legally relevant to it.

Otherwise, it's forever tainted, and can't be used in ANY investigation.

Most prosecutors are smart enough to not submit irrelevant evidence during discovery to prevent this from happening, and are ESPECIALLY wary of presenting evidence gained by illegal, or circuitous means.

Regardless of political leaning, I wouldn't expect someone with Trump's vast amount of wealth and experience accruing & maintaining it, to jeopardize it all (including personal freedom and reputation).

And then you'd have to believe that he would be so arrogant that he commit these acts (allegedly) on stage for the entire free world to see. All the while still believing no-one noticed?

This is nothing more than a media circus to feed the left wing dreams of a Trump-free WH. This mockery of an investigation is rife with conflicts of interests, illegal info leaking; media word spinning fueling a political witch hunt.

Just another stain on American politics. And it marks a pathetic decline in what is laughingly referred to as journalism.
>>
>>130159292
They've got something in the bag. I don't what it is. But they wouldn't be playing at this if they didn't know they could get at least one significant scalp. And all the scuttlebutt talk about impeachment concerns me, because I suspect there's some scheme back of that, something up their sleeve (I hope I'm wrong).

The fix is in, starting with Rosenstein. It's absurd that Comey could flatly state that he leaked - illegally - in order to compel the appointment of a special prosecutor. And then Rosenstein appointed a special prosecutor. A guy who's a fucking hack but who looks nice & earnest in a suit - the picture of rectitude - and who just happens to be a very good friend of Comey's, which Rosenstein SURELY knew, and which makes the whole thing is a farce, because the whole point of appointing a special prosecutor is to assign an arm's-length investigator who's outside the chain of command. Mueller's friendship with Comey defeats the purpose and rationale behind the special counsel statute.

If Mueller starts handing out immunity - like Loretta Lynch & Comey did in the Hillary server "investigation" - it's time for a revolution, lads.

In any event, the fix is in. It's utterly shameless and obvious, but they are going to drive this fucking thing until it wrecks Trump, or until they themselves are wrecked. No half-measures. Mueller and the Democrats are all-in. Trump's impeachment or resignation in disgrace, or bust.

>>
>>130169464
man was just reading about this and it's kind of scary

>The charges arose from an investigation by Ken Starr, an Independent Counsel. Originally dealing with the failed land deal years earlier known as Whitewater, Starr, with the approval of United States Attorney General Janet Reno, conducted a wide-ranging investigation of alleged abuses, including the firing of White House travel agents, the alleged misuse of FBI files, and Bill Clinton's conduct during the sexual harassment lawsuit filed by a former Arkansas government employee, Paula Jones. In the course of the investigation, Linda Tripp provided Starr with taped phone conversations in which Monica Lewinsky, a former White House Intern, discussed having performed fellatio on Clinton. At the deposition, the judge rejected the plaintiff's lawyer's definition of the term "sexual relations"[3][4] that Clinton claims to have construed to mean only vaginal intercourse. Judge Wright then told the attorneys they could be as explicit as necessary in asking their questions.
>>
>>130170341
>A much-quoted statement from Clinton's grand jury testimony showed him questioning the precise use of the word "is". Contending that his statement that "there's nothing going on between us" had been truthful because he had no ongoing relationship with Lewinsky at the time he was questioned, Clinton said, "It depends upon what the meaning of the word 'is' is. If the—if he—if 'is' means is and never has been, that is not—that is one thing. If it means there is none, that was a completely true statement".[5] Starr obtained further evidence of inappropriate behavior by seizing the computer hard drive and email records of Monica Lewinsky. Based on the president's conflicting testimony, Starr concluded that Clinton had committed perjury. Starr submitted his findings to Congress in a lengthy document (the so-called Starr Report), and simultaneously posted the report on the internet, replete with lurid descriptions of encounters between Clinton and Lewinsky.[6] Starr was criticized by Democrats for spending $70 million on an investigation that substantiated only perjury and obstruction of justice.[7] Critics of Starr also contend that his investigation was highly politicized because it regularly leaked tidbits of information to the press in violation of legal ethics, and because his report included lengthy descriptions which were humiliating yet irrelevant to the legal case.[8][9]

I can't shake the feeling that Comey has flipped.
He has made very obvious blunders in his actions and testimony that will cause future problems for the Clinton cartel.
Also, Trump didn't make much of a fuss when Mueller was appointed.
Now Mueller is bringing in experts on organized crime and money laundering.
It would be the one and only way out for Comey, the only other options are death or prison.

>Comey strikes a deal with Trump
>Trump allows Rosenstein to appoint special council that will give Comey immunity
>Rosenstein picks Mueller, some guy Comey used to circle-jerk with at spook summer camp

Those rules are nice and all, but I think you may be talking about a different game. The legal venue they're aiming at is impeachment, which is a fundamentally political rather than legal institution. The rules will be decided on by Congress themselves.

If the special counsel floats some deep state fabricated "evidence," regardless of any improprieties in the investigation, Mueller is (((widely respected))), and so McCain and half of the rest of the GOP will dutifully clutch their pearls and impeach.

Robert Mueller seems like a trustworthy guy.

September 11 attacks
A few days after the attacks, FBI Director Robert Mueller announced: "There were no warning signs that I'm aware of that would indicate this type of operation in the country."
