Real quick. I spent some time doing biocompatibility work for the FDA. Had an analytical chemistry group. I noticed on day, none of the chemists ever had food or water in plastic during lunch. Always glass. These guys were the ones performing extractable and leechable studies. They knew full well what comes out of plastic. That observation was all I needed to know I had to stay away from plastic in my food and water.
