so i'm just curious about how you people would feel towards me if i can create employment in a high unemployment area in the US. in other words, moving in without taking american jobs.

like what's the general consensus ? would i still be seen as "that third world immigrant" ?

Are you coming just because because where you are now simply sucks worse? Or are you coming to become an American and adopt our values/culture? That can make a slight difference perhaps, but overall legal immigrants who take the time and trouble to do it right are a non-issue.

Bottom line: immigrate LEGALLY, obey the laws, get a job/be productive, and dont whine about shit and you will be liked and welcomed by probably 99% of people here

of course both. it sucks here because i don't like everything i see, i can't relate to the sociopolitical nature of this country, and i just feel attached to american culture and values more than i do to this country. this country sucks because i can't relate to the culture.
