Firstly, socialism is quite a vague term nowadays. You have to distinguish between the original meaning (involving central planning replacing markets) and the modern meaning (based on the redistribution of wealth).
Capitalism is similarly vague.
Secondly, your statement...

...is objectively wrong. The Great Depression was caused by the Federal Reserve trying to reimplement the Real Bills Doctrine.
I'm not sure which other one you're assigning great depression status, but I'm not aware of any caused by socialism.
