Because they didn't merely point out those propaganda techniques, they tried to weaponize them against capitalism. That weaponized propaganda created useful idiots that shilled for the Soviet Union for decades. Identity politics are infinitely better precisely because it drives people into shit-filled echo chambers.

if you've actually read any of these writers it is clear to see they were generating trendy literary critical theory that reinforced the supremacy of marxism and freudianism so they could keep their hold of the academy and maintain society under a soft marxism. there is precious little of value in their clever tomes. most jewish scholarship is this way sadly.

pointing out the propaganda techniques of capitalists using marxist and freudian critique when those very capitalist techniques were taken from freudian invention of public relations is a bit disingenuous.
