What a shitty argument leftists have for this. Yeah we didn't shit on a canvas and claim it's art. Art in a museum is supposed to be something the average person could not do themselves. It's supposed to show the skill of the painter in creating something difficult and profound. We don't have the Olympics so average people can perform and win. We only want to see the best. Art is the same way. We want to see the heights of what a human can accomplish. That's built in biologically into us humans. True, art is supposed to be a work of human endeavour. If you had a computer that took a photo and then printed it off, it would be the same thing as a painting but it wouldn't be nearly as inspiring.
