Questing after any kind of meaning in the Trump brand is a mistake. We’ve seen the mind of the Anime Nazis, and it’s a hysterical fever dream of sexual inadequacy, palpitating early male pattern baldness, and hands twisted into ricket-like deficiency from relativistic centuries of gaming children’s puzzle platforms and nightly rituals of self-abuse. To see the face of the Pepes on r/TheDonald is to look at an empire of teens whose stepdad never gave them feedback on their Let’s Play speedruns, all the absent fathers who didn’t know what in the good hell a Twitch stream was and sure as hell couldn’t give two arctic shits about what a Pokemon was and how far along you’d brought it. A howling void of meaningless, the collective dream of a generation of wannabe Rorschachs who thought they were too cool to leave ALL CAPS COMMENTS on YouTube channels, but too asocial to realize Mountain Dew was not a classy choice. In that spirit, I have combined their raging amasculine inadequacy fears (“Strong”) with their love of banal, Pratchett-level leet comedy (“Spoon”). I am StrongSpoon. May God forgive all of us for delving deep into the mills of Minecraft content producers.
