Don't believe /pol/ about "hard" vs. "soft" Brexit.
There have been tons of different suggestions what these things mean. Most say "soft" means remaining in the single market, i.e. sort of the Norway type of model.
It could have also mean leaving the single market, but doing a set of Swiss style agreements - which would also be soft.
Anyway, there will be no soft Brexit, only a hard Brexit makes sense for both sides. A hard brexit means no single market, no custom unions, no relationship whatsoever... just a promise to negotiate an FTA at some point.
