Back in World War II the Americans dropped two nuclear bombs in Japan; one on Hiroshima and the other on Nagasaki. This complete obliteration led to the Japanese surrendering and had long lasting effects on the nations society.Early on the were instances of glorification of the event as can be evidenced in the hit film "Godzilla" that acts to metaphorically represent the nuclear destruction of one of their cities. The Japanese have developed a fascination with being victims and enjoyed being punished. They see themselves as lacking masculinity and in modern culture resort to obsessing of animated depictions known as "Anime". This is an instance where an entire nation had been cuckolded, forever chainging the culture of a once great society to a nation of man-children.
