While we appreciate the sentiments of Philadephia's Office of LGBT Affairs, it is still problematic.

The design of the flag is divided into just 8 colors, offensively implying that sexuality can be boiled down to discrete categories. It denies the scientific consensusy that sexuality is a continuous and fluid spectrum.

It is a relic tainted by unconscious bias and oppressive attitudes that only continues to marginalize the most vulnerable.

We therefore propose this improved and more inclusive design to proudly represent all those within, between and beyond the restrictive "LGBTQ" labels.

Please spread this message to correct these misguided attempts at real change and inclusion.
